Volkswagen AG, the German auto major, has just launched an integrated 360 degree communication campaign using print, electronic, digital and out-of-home media for the first time in India. Now the company is ready to launch its Volkswagen Beetle model in Mumbai on 4th December 2009. The company intends to utilise the Volkswagen Beetle as a brand building tool as it's gearing up to enter the compact car segment by 2010. The upcoming Volkswagen Beetle would sport a 2.0 litre, 115hp petrol engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Other features that will be studde with the car will comprise of a rain sensor and cruise control, along with acoustic rear parking sensors to fit into small parking spaces. ABS, traction control, anti-skid system and standard front and side airbags will be it's safety features. In addition remote central locking, heat insulating windshield and side glass, stereo with 6 speakers and CD changer, front centre armrests, power steering, body coloured bumpers and 15 incch alloy wheels features will also be available.
