News: Bush gets attacked by shoes in Iraq (video)

It is funny that the Iraqi reporter had enough time to throw the first shoe, then take out the second one and throw that as well before the security guys actually came in!

LetsDiscuss: Is ICICI Bank facing bankruptcy or is it just Rumours

In this forum people are talking about the panic withdrawals like in 2003. I dont think ICICI is going bankrupt, but its certainly under deep trouble. If this rumour keeps spreading they will face huge panic withdrawals to further deepen the crisis. Which will fuel the liquidity fire and God knows may result in bankruptcy. Hope ICICI issues a clear public statement.

Sports: Ronaldinho - Top 20 Best Goals & Skills

One of my all time favourite footballer Ronaldiho's best goals ever. With nice brazilian rhtyhm in the background. What makes it special is he is a pocket sized dynamo.

LetsDiscuss: 'By 2010, 60 % of world's heart patients will be in India'

In two years time 60 percent of people suffering from heart attack will be in our country. sounds horrible. but what could be done, we Indians have a chalta hai attitude... we dont care for things and especially diseases. we often see people ignoring important health issues and even during leisure period there is not much physical activity. one interesing thing is we dont consume enough fruits and vegetables as per the study suggests. if this is so then there will be some serious problems, and as expected rural people are more active than us I think the government should make a compulsion on the weight limit of a person and some strict diet should be followed. if this is not done I wonder how this country is going to solve this challenge.

IndiaShining: Congress wants Dhoni magic in Rahul...

His being head of congress is inevitable, but becoming the PM might not be as easy. More importantly, is this the best our country can do? Maybe yes

LetsDiscuss: Punjabis are poisoning themselves

Really scary report: punjabi villages, children and adults are being afflicted by uncommon cancers. Water, people, animals, milk and agricultural produce are all poisoned. Reason seems to be rooted in heavy use of pesticides in the state.

LetsDiscuss: Everyone wants to be a lower caste

Race to the bottom and no one wants to be left out. This is what happens when the government creates perverse incentives.

Miscellaneous: India gets the 6th highest aid from developed nations

At $1.8 Billion India is still only around 15% of Iraq's aid. Moreover, if we think of the no. of people in our country, the aid doesn't mean much more than $1 per Indian!

Business: After Bharti and Hutch, Reliance also plans to outsource its billion dollar IT ops

Will reliance also land its $1.5B dollar outsourcing with IBM as Hutch and Bharti did? If that were to happen, IBM becomes the single point of failure for almost all of India's mobile operators!

Masti: And now a huge garfield archive!

Garfield has really been an inspiration. Wonder how much effort it would take to get to this level of laziness. (such irony!)
