The apple iPhone 3G was unveiled in India recently and there has been a lot of reviews in print / television / web about the new gadget of the town. I felt this was the right time to write a small article about the 10 Best Applications you ought to have in your iPhone 3G.
Do let me know if I have missed any of your favorite iPhone apps that should have made it to this list.
1.Twitterrific
This is a must have iphone app for all the geeks out there who spend considerable time on the Twitter Social Network. Twitterrific easily lets you post, reply and read the tweets on Twitter. Twitterrific also includes an in-build mini browser for showing links and also offers easy access to user profiles on Twitter.
2.Remember The Milk
Just keeping track of everything you have to do any given day can be simply a very difficult task. Luckily for all of us, we had an online app called Rememberthemilk.com - now the same online task manager is available as an easy to use iPhone app too. As soon as you add a task, you’ll be able to get reminders to your email, your iPhone, or your instant messaging account. This allows you to organize your tasks in a way that makes getting them done easy.
The rest 8 are listed and reviewed at the above link.

SFC.EXE is a Windows system files resource checker that scans the integrity of all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions. SFC comes packaged and built-in since Windows XP era, and is also included in Windows Vista.
However, not many users seem to ever use the the useful utility when the Windows operating system is in trouble or running into problem. Some may not even aware of SFC existence, probably because that the program is not listed in Start Menu’s All Programs listing. Beside, most advanced users prefer to use Ghost imaging or cloning software to backup a clone copy of entire disk, which can then be restored when there is system failure. Most users simply wipe off the hard disk and reinstall a fresh and clean copy of Windows.

If you intend to create a few websites online, then you can think of considering purchasing an account with a Web Hosting service. Well, I would like to point out to a few factors that you need to consider before you really sign-up for an account.
1) It is reputable and reliable web hosting company?
2) Is their Customer Support is good/excellent - read reviews by visiting the forums.
3) Do you get a FREE DOMAIN - most packages now come with a free domain (your own .com / .info).
4) How big of a webspace do you get. Most offer 1500 GB or above, but do you really need that much?
5) You need a lot of bandwidth or data transfer - 15000 GB or above. The bandwidth gets used when a user visits your website or downloads a content from your site.

There are a few things that can be done in times of grave emergencies. Your mobile phone can actually be a life saver or an emergency tool for survival. Check out the things that you can do with it:
1. Emergency
The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself
out of the coverage area of your mobile; network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you, and interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.
Another three on the site listed above :)

This is written by a Pakistani journalist called Dr Farrukh Saleem on 12/9/2007. He is an Islamabad-based freelance columnist.
It was an eye-opener and made a wonderful read. I have just re-produced the article on an 'as-is' basis, hence no offense intended to anyone.
The two Ambani brothers can buy 100 percent of every company listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) and would still be left with $30 billion to spare. The four richest Indians can buy up all goods and services produced over a year by 169 million Pakistanis and still be left with $60 billion to spare. The four richest Indians are now richer than the forty richest Chinese.
In November, Bombay Stock Exchange's benchmark Sensex flirted with 20,000 points. As a consequence, Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries became a $100 billion company (the entire KSE is capitalized at $65 billion). Mukesh owns 48 percent of Reliance.
In November, comes Neeta's birthday. Neeta turned forty-four three weeks ago. Look what she got from her husband as her birthday present: A sixty-million dollar jet with a custom fitted master bedroom, bathroom with mood lighting, a sky bar, entertainment cabins, satellite television, wireless communication and a separate cabin with game
consoles. Neeta is Mukesh Ambani's wife, and Mukesh is not India's richest but the second richest.
