Dr. Tannehill was Assistant Professor of Human Oncology at the University of Wisconsin for over five years and specialized in gynecologic and breast cancer treatment. During this time, he oversaw the oncology curriculum for the University of Wisconsin Medical School. He was also invited to present on his research and treatment techniques at universities and national meetings in the U.S. and abroad, and was nationally recognized for his expertise in various brachytherapy (internal radiation)
