Below is the long comment I wrote on his Blog.
This is absolutely huge. In significance it is a superb move, and it will have one heck of an impact on India and Indians. I have mentioned about this so many times, and so many places, mostly on RamBhai.com
But let me share my views on this right here.
First of all it makes TaTa even bigger. But more then just that, Indians will now be able to have a car cheaper then a Motor Bike. Which is a quality better then some rural parts of China, where people can bearily afford to have a Scooter.
Whenever this story comes to my mind, my memory recalls to the history I learned about the U.S. This is very similar to 1920's of the U.S. This car will enable people to travel easily and more frequently. This also encourages consumerism, which is the key to a young, upcoming nation like India, to be successful and maintain success. Economy will flourish, as people look to be more competetive, and people looking for more opportunities, now that they have the luxury to travel easily they can explore other areas of India. More people moving around means, more areas of India being developed and getting feel of city life.
It will bring smiles to the old, and the children of household. Olds because many olds in India had only this dream left to accomplish, or the only dream they actually dreamed about, it is a fantasy come true for them. The children because they will no longer need to sit on tires of motor bikes or scooters, and will no longer seek mother's lap for a seat. Women will no longer need to go to buses, and go through all the hassels each great women of India goes through to shop groceries. Men will no longer be late to work, and for those that don't have a job, can now at least try to get one.
Another big thing is, this will demand more roads, which would create more jobs, and more jobs more pockets are filled of people, and through that more consumerism, and you associate or combine this with the success of IPL, you got a whole new United States situation of 1920s.
The only thing we have to hope for is that it doesn't lead India to a economic depression, like it did in 1920s of the U.S
Another thing this car does is it enables and encourages sexual relations with a partner, youngs have a backseat in which they can share the desires. We hope this does not lead to India being the next platform for Aids and Hiv or for that matter any of the Sexual Transmitted Diseases. Social Workers of India should consider giving people the information about protection and safe sex.
In 50 to 60 years, give or take, I think the U.S will be done with the War on Terror, war on Irq might end sooner, but war on terror won't end until the U.S has reached its goal. In 50 years China will be the next Super Power, and U.S will look over to China as the next Target by complaining upon their Human Rights. And India, in 50 years, will be the next China.
As, I am from Pakistan and am always concern about them, the worst that can happen to Pakistan is a war with India. And I think the best that can happen to India is a war with Pakistan. Let me explain that a briefly. If India happens to go to an economic depression in like 2020, they would need to go to a war to deduce the recetion. Many people might call me mad and stupid, but a war for India will take India to the next level, and I think it is very very essential for India to go to war in the upcoming 50 years. Because a war does everything this car will do, it creates jobs, encourages engineers, encourages literature, encourages opinions, which is essential for a democracy, encourages consumeris, and then completely shutting down Pakistan, and then helping Pakistan lift to be a good power and make them an ally after the war, and things like free trade, will help substantially to India. Unfortunately it will injure the Pakistan for at least 30 years, but after those 30 years they will work with India step by step and will also become india's caliber.
I apologize if any part of my comment disturbs anyone. But hey it is a free world, or at least where I live it is, and I have the right to give my opinion the way I want to.

hmm rizzy, i dont know. A full fledged war between two N powers is a non reality in today's world. India and Pakistan for their own sakes can not fight a real war. The war has changed battle field to economics. I think India and pakistan would surely one day realize how profitable it would be to be allies rather than enemies.

As for TaTa, they should consider letting people add features to this Car. Provide them with upgrade plans that help the car become a better, they can make loads of profit off of that. And let me tell you, for the people who will buy this car, it will be a huge headache for them, cause a 1 Lakh car can simply not live up to a car. but good luck to the people and great idea by tata. Another thing is that TaTa and india will be able to trade this car with china and china is in desperate needs of this kind of car, also the whole asia is in need of this car and India gets the benefit because they can trade ittt. Unfortunately, it won't make it to any other countries but India's neighboring countries. The farthest this car can make is Australia and Russia.

What a wonderful comment by rizzy..
This TATA nano is really a big boon to indians (why to the world too).
One day, i saw a discussion in NDTV about this NANO, one lady was harshly blaming this car will increase pollution, increase congession in roads, affects world climate and so govt should ban this car or shoud impose more tax so that it would price would go up, and people should use public transport as far as possible. One viewer from phone asked that super lady, how she had come to the show. she replied " I came by own car". the viewer asked why didnot she come by public transport. She replied "I dont like public transport as it is very crowded". Then, everybody laugh at her and one guy told she would bocome best policians in future. Later the discussion came into line.

I am proud,i have my first friend from Pakistan,
It is one of the country i respect (but only for people of pakistan - not for dictatorship).
People of both India and paks likes eachother and brotherhood, But SOMETHING keeps us from being good. Its fate for both India and Pak.
May i request you to post some interesting infos about pak.?

@ Garfield It will only be benefit to India and Pakistan to be allies when they actually interact and interact fiercfully, so wht if its the nucs, i am sure U.S got the backs of both countries and both countries will i am sure not use nucs, maybe the small ones and technology the nucs have built but not the big bombs... and man a war wud bring stupid dictators, no not the dictators, the people who let them be ruled by dictators will get to senses when they go through hardship.
Garfield u don't realize buddy, in the Pakistan it is all new young faces, doing nothing, they definately need a war, because its all young guns who have always know that the federal government rules us and we have to respect everything they say to us.

@ rsk I understand the women's point of view on NDTV and when I first heard this from my great teacher, I also thought of pollution, but hey u have to give something to get something, the climate is being destroyed, and i think india is getting the worst of asian climate, because the oceans by bangladesh breezes the bad air into pakistan and from there is goes to india and sri lanka is involved in it too.

Coming back to ur thing, I did, i did try to post about pakistan, i went to PkPolitics.com and unfortunately i did not find anything but wrongdoings in pakistan, and that just hurts, cause even though I love India, and haven't been to pakistan since the longest time, and don't even like pakistan, it still stays in my mind, or u can say heart for emos, u know everytime i watch ary or geo, i get a headache, some indian shows also give me a headache.
there are so many mistakes they make, compare geo news, the most popular to a new channel and new network in Headlines Today, they barely started and already are following the features of CNN, even though they are no where close, they sure heck are closer the pakistan.
Geo don't cover much entertainment, they don't cover cricket, only the wrong doings of politics and other stupid stuff. Its ok to me if their genre is just that, but do it with phucking efficiency man, Headline News got there people going to places on every small event, and Geo don't have people going anywhere. What i am trying to say is it will cost them money, but as a big industry it is ur phucking responsibility to provide some effing jobs, and the more jobs u provide more families talk about u cuz u are providing more opportunities, u have more support, no body goes at u, soon the politics will understand never to play with geo again and never shut them. huh me kya kahoon yar bohat kharaab hai pakistan aur thori thori problems hain. lekin the biggest problem is this phucking phrase " oh ab pakistan nahi theek ho sakta" motha effers if u people gonna be pakistanis and say that phrase u might as well give the country to someone else, i mean come on now, and it is everyone who comes across me, every pakistani, my parents, my sisters, my cousins, everyone, and guys I wud like to share this now with u guys, now this decision is very hard for me but I believe that if I concern so much about Pakistan, then I need to bust my A** and actually do some about it, I need to fullfill my contribution, i need to do my part, when I get my doctorate, at about age 35, I will go to Pakistan and i will talk to every effing pakistani who comes in front of my face and suggest him a solution to his problem, if he dont want it i will look at another person, if he don't want it i will talk to another one, and keep the likewise concept going until I die. But first i need to make some money, and do some stuff here.

@rizzy i respect your emotions for your country. Its grea t to see you so dedicated about doing something for Pak. I think Pak people need to start taking strength from their achievements. Start highlighting pak achievements, this will make them proud and motivated. Besides if Pak has people like you im sure it has a better future in store.
