Travel: Snow trap rattles Rohtang tourists

MANALI: As many as 500 tourists had a narrow escape after being trapped for hours in blizzards on the highway between Kothi and Marhi on Wednesday night. Tourists, who were enjoying snowfall till afternoon, were struggling to save their lives. The administration left the tourists to fend for themselves despite clear alarm sounded about the bad weather by the Met department earlier.
