Tucked away in the inner ranges of the Himalayas is the tiny state of Sikkim. Part of India demographically and politically, Sikkim is the twenty second state to be annexed to the Indian Union, post Independence. While Sikkim is relatively unknown, in comparison to most other tourist destinations in India, it definitely is one of the most beautiful, unexploited regions in India
