Nashik has always been the epicenter of commerce and business deal and it is the India's largest market place. It is a part of the greenway and is famous for the versatile fruits and vegetables it produces. In fact the yield of grapes, strawberries and onions in Nashik is amongst the most eminent in the country.

    If m nt wrong NASIK iz also popular for a Jail...I dnt remember d name of tht jail.

      Yes, you are right...the name of the jail is "NASIK JAIL" I also missed out the original name. but "Nasik Jail" is well known.

    I think it is formally known as Central Jail of Nashik. This has been a very famous location for holding hard core criminals. Many of you'll must have seen this in Amitabh's movies when he steps out of a Jail.
