Yahoo geocities was one of those few sites that I started my online business with. Geocities is yahoo's free hosting facility where one can create simple websites and host them. You will get a sub folder like geocities.com/something. Yahoo made plenty of restrictions on it, like a 5 MB hourly bandwidth and full sidebar ads etc. this forced some people to buy their premium hosting plans, I was one of those unfortunate ones

      yahoo geocities is clossing down, so its no longer going to exist and yahoo recomends all geocities users to go for yahoo small business which is crap imo, so that's why am suggesting,
