I have come across quite a few sites now which provide access to live television. This one shows Star, Zee , Sony and many more... Try it, Username:Zaphod,pass:zaphod.

Don't know how legal they are but are certainly useful if you want to checkout what's happening on the television while sitting on your computer!

    This particular site is only indian television, but there are a websites showing global channels. The good thing being that you can see programming which is not even available in our country. A few of these are:
