Nokia’s tagline of ‘connecting people’ certainly seems to have struck a chord with the Indian consumer. For a second year running, the handset maker has topped the prestigious, ‘Brand Equity Most Trusted Brands (MTB) Survey‘. If you remember, Nokia made a sales record in India by selling 58,000 pieces of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phones in just 3 weeks of its launch. India is always a hot market for Nokia and the brand is well established even in the interiors of the country.
