First, for those of you who are not aware of Rambhai, it is an open source social bookmarking site powered by Pligg. Even though this community's heart and soul is based on India related content, many of its hyperactive members share some great content from all around the world. It is a growing community and a very stable one. You should definitely consider checking this site out and also use it to promote your own links
Okay now let's talk about what this story is really based upon.
I happen to be one of the many active, and well stable members of this great social bookmarking site. And Rambhai has given me a lot exposure on their site along with over a thousand visitors from their site to my blog in just over a month. Well I think it is time to give back some love. Therefore I have started the URPM (Unofficial Rambhai.com Promotion Month).
What is UNRM?
UNRM is the Unofficial Rambhai.com Promotion Month in short. This idea is invented by Rizzy in order to evolve Rambhai.com from an alexa rank of 19,318, to at least in the top thousand. Mainly this is to get Rambhai more eyes. Put it on different social bookmarking sites and make people come to know of this great social bookmarking site.
What do I have to do to be able to participate in this?
This is as simple as rambhai.com. You don't have to be a rambhai.com user to support rambhai but if you do join and promote rambhai.com's links you will get benefit because your links will be voted more, I'll explain the benefits later in the post. Below are few simple steps you must follow in order to participate in this:
1. Select five stories from rambhai.com.
2. Submit all those 5 links one by one into other social bookmarking sites, like Digg, Propeller, and more. An alternative to this is giving a review upon rambhai.com on StumbleUpon. Click Here
3. Give us the link or links of your review or the submitted links to other social bookmarking sites.
That is it you are done. Please avoid spam and movie links from rambhai.com when representing rambhai on other social bookmarking sites.
Benefits of participating.

@rsk - I think intention of rizz is to promote rambhai. Nothing wrong about that. Incentive he is offering is his vote on the blogger's post. His vote is not enough to publish a story on rambhai, other people also have to vote and they will of course vote for something which is really interesting. I honour rizzy;s intention and promoting rambhai in such a way is good for entire community. Offering his vote maybe a bit questionable, however if it helps rambhai, I would offer my vote as well....

But, this can be compromised as long as the post from rambhai to other sites are good, and
the next u said, that user will get 6 votes for thier next 10 posts.
This will reduce the name of our rambhai.com, that 6 votes should be for good posts other wise site name will be ....

yar rsk and others please stop rating comments, because then it messes up the whle discussion because then the discussion doesn't flow, one reads the top comment but is not aware where it comes from
why dont rambhai can offer a free rotating banner for such users, this would be most benefited,
rizzy, i didnot notice that rating comments will bring it up. i understand your point. but rambhai may do something to keep the comment order as such even if they are rated positve.

AHMEDABAD: For the last 25 years, he has supplied steaming cups of chai at his kitli, offering food for thought and creating a space for debate and discussion for students of IIM-A.
Now, this chaiwala is raising a storm in a tea cup in cyberspace, with a website created in his name that has a popular discussion board which touches on almost everything - from global warming to "hot" Carla Bruni.
"Students come to my kitli and discuss a wide range of topics. I join in and like to have open discussions and exchange of ideas," says Rambhai Kori, who came to the city from Uttar Pradesh when he was three.
Not surprising then, that the site named after him is a discussion board for topics and links for stories ranging from 'Bloodbath on Dalal Street' to 'India's launching of the Israeli satellite' and '10 reasons why you should date a fat girl'. Another discussion is on Bin Laden's son advising his father to change his ways, while another talks on 'Sicko grabs Koena's stomach'.
Rambhai, who began as an electrician before he started his chai joint, says it is a 2000-batch student of IIM-A, who started this site. "I remember him as Amit and he is in the US now. He spoke to me before launching the site," says Rambhai. The site - www.rambhai.com - also offers Rambhai-special T-shirts that have a photo of a cup of tea embossed on them, to those putting most number of links to topics discussed on the site.
He is the first point of contact outside the campus for students coming from outside the city and he provides them the much needed information of the city and where to get what.
Students also meet Rambhai for getting actual examples for their case studies and feedback on the dynamics of the local market. After their classes, they would gather there to discuss everything under the sun.
