Tech: How can we put HD movie（TS,TP,TRP,MTS,M2TS etc.）to iPod,iPhone?

I have several videos recorded by myself with my digital camera. Is it possible to put those video to my iPod and enjoy videos anytime and anywhere? iPod do not support HD format. But you could use Mac Video Converter to convert HD video (TS, TP, MTS, M2TS etc.) to MP4, AVI, MOV or other formats supported by iPod.
