Tech: AOL to buy Huffington Post for US$ 315 Million

In a significant development, which will bring a new revolution to the online media industry, AOL has decided to buy Huffington Post for US$ 315 million. AOL will now in be a better position to compete with Yahoo News and Google News.

    AOL is going for the blogs, first tech crunch, now this one. But i think there strategy should be about going niche focused big blogs, otherwise they will have a lot of un-targeted visitors...

    also, their step to shut down propeller is quite a bad move in itself, because propeller could have been the right launching pad for the blog entries...

      I think AOL made a lot of losses and sold off to Time Warner, perhaps due to decisions like you mention Seoharmu.
