    hi amit,

    good to see you here, and expecting chetan to come here as well,

    on topic: i don't think google will be able to pull out a good os too, operating system is not a browser that people can switch overnight, there's way too much of compatibility issues along with the reasons mentioned on your post... am sure most people will stick to the os they are running.

    am satisfied with xp, so i don't see a reason to switch over to any other os, and even if i do, i will go for something that will run all my existing programs easily,
