What a scary thought. But considering the logical explanation in this New York Times article we could actually be a part of someone else's experiment or recreation!!

    Why not! According to Douglas Adams we are all a part of a big computer trying to find the answer to "Life, Universe and Everything" - which btw would come out to "42" [Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy] :)

    Wait A Minute..

    I have NEVER encountered any single OS till date which is 100% Bug Free, and I'm sure with our human capacities its IMPOSSIBLE to attain the same.

    Now if you imagine everything that we are, is a computer simulation then I MUST presume that its Bug Free or Maintenance Free...

    Has there a single incidence when this 'simulation' crashed or reloaded?

    Well yes - There are heart attacks, Congenital defects, Diseases, Spontaneous combustion, Reincarnation, Deja vu. That can be thought of bugs or reloads....

    If a human is dead or born, can it cause a direct effect on this OS (or Matrix, per say) I guess its quite minute and doesnt have any impact at all, so in a broader sense one may classify them (diseases) bugs however in true sense the System has never been brought to a complete halt yet.

    Secondly, if you (can) give the credibility to God as the Supreme Power over all the things.. I understand that, then there is a script and then there is a meaning in life and everything else.. isnt it?
