Just an example. Do you know of a good academy or coaching centre in your town where 5-10 year olds can go learn the game of football from experienced coaches

bang on avnishanand - there is nowhere you can learn football in my area. But hey why do you think we indians should focus on football. How about getting all countries to play cricket instead :-)

hey avnish i agree wid u buddy.... i think the football in India should be given more attention as well.....
what it will do is it will arise the feeling of unity and team spirit in young kids playing football since the childhood.....
the only movie i can remember based on Football is Goal and that too was concentrating on Asia as a whole....
and the joke that India will reach to 100 position was very cool yaar..... good sense of humour....
what u have said in ur post is properly correct but then what needs to be done is the main issue....
who will take the responsibility in inspiring the parents towards football.....till the time they dont find anything special in Indian football i dont think things are gonna change easily......

dont think so...not when Suresh Kalmadi says only politicians should run sports because they can get more money from the govt...we need a sports nut to come to power in this country...

some sports nut.... sounds interesting but he should not be a normal sports nut interested in cricket but a guy who has a passion for team games like hockey and football then only he will be able to make some differences in the system and the attitudes of the ppl......
