    Boxing also gets a lot of unnecessary flak for being a dangerous sport. There are published reports which show through numbers that other sports like car racing etc have had a far higher percentage of accidents and deaths. But there is this major 'dangerous sport' campaign against boxing which has hurt it real bad.

    yes anand i agree with u..... in fact there is some amount of danger involved in each and every sport you say....cricket , football, hockey or be it cycling.........or even sports like gymnastics.... so it is wrong to label only boxing as physically dangerous.....

    i dont know why these opinion makers who do not like a particular sport or cant excel in that term it as negative for the whole world.......
