    hey that were some really proud moments, but i cant figure the name of the most popular female sports person of the country Sania Mirza......

    isnt she involved in any of India's greatest moments???

    hmmm....dude as you would have noticed...i haven't mentioned any of the numerous grand slam quarter final appearances made by Indian players or tournament wins on the ATP tour.By that yardstick nothing that Sania has done qualifies. But one thing which really comes to mind is the amazing Hopman Cup run she went on alongwith Rohan Bopanna

    I found a link to South Club,Calcutta's site and they have pics of all the Davis cup ties played there. Did some other hunting around but not much turned up. Its actually very sad. even the official site of the Davis cup has pics only from 2003. I am sure all the newspapers have enough rare pics rotting in their archives :-(
