When he went to investigate, he was shocked to find the soldier skeleton, complete with advice boots. Police were called to the scene in less than a cable car station on Serauta near Canazei Marmolada in the Dolomites in northeast Italy. Near the border with Austria, the area is a popular ski resort in winter.
