News: Sensex, Nifty lower as Asia trades in red | ND tv

The Indian markets opened lower on the back of weak global signals. Asian markets were generally weak because of concern over the Chinese financial system. The Sensex was down 0.38 percent to 16,880 while the Nifty opened 0.43 percent lower in 5064. Both indices had closed in the green for the fourth straight day yesterday.
