For Rehman awards are raining but it is a special honour as it comes from his home. A. R. Rehman belongs to Chennai and will be awarded an honorary doctorate by Anna University in Chennai in recognition of his accomplishment and his overall achievements. The doctorate will be awarded in Media Sciences.
