Media strongly projected that it would be either Shah Rukh Khan for Chak De India or Aamir Khan for Taare Zameen Par winning the prestigious title. Prakash Raj has been in the spotlight with his outstanding piece of work in Priyadarshan’s film Kanchivaram projecting him as a silk weaver. The South Indian actor had earlier made his presence in Hindi cinema with Amitabh Bacchan starrer Khakee featuring him in a negative role.
