Ha Ha @sara, i dont think madhuri will appreciate you mentioning her age. I think her beauty is timeless though and we should forget how old she is. Happy Bday Madhuri.
lolz @garfield, i know what do u mean. however, i think Madhuri will not mind it. She is higher than these kind of stuff. She is genious,different,intelligent. thats what she get award for.
what has she done guys, really think critically upon this and tell me what makes her intelligent, unique, one thing i will agree upon is that she deserves every penny she has gotten, and she has been mature, but is she really an icon ?
Madhuri has been extremely intelligent in her acting and career planning. She is unique in her dancing abilities and screen presence. however she is not an icon because she has not given back much to the society yet or maybe i don tknow about it.
Guys i think u got totally wrong concept of being a person an icon in society. Well tell me why shahrukh khan is consider as an icon for youngster. he didnt done much for the society yeah may have done some work but not certainly not that much that he is considered as an icon or king of youngsters. In my opinion importance of movies in society is that due to one movie u can become a gud or bad person. for example, Chak De India! movie has inspired all of us to do something in our life and want to go for win everything there is nothing impossible. we have seen after the movie release we always shout "Chak de india" during games of different sports.... that is called inspiration and thats what actors/actresses do in perfect to make things happens in society... Maybe u guys understanding what i m trying to say.. its a very long discussion topic i tried it to keep it as short as possible. hope u got my point
yar sara contributing to the community is only one of the factors of being an icon.... first understand that, and now madhuri has done nothing so big in her career, if she had done something big aaja nachle wud have been a hit, but she is not popular and not an icon in india, because her popularity doesn't show it, and people don't always talk of her, she is a past now, great dancer, average actor, but so what everyone can do that now.
