Manuel Noriega was born 11 February 1934. He is a former general and military dictator of Panama from 1983 to 1989. His full name is Manuel Antonio Noriega Moreno. Noriega, who spent two decades in American custody, completed his sentence for drug trafficking in 2007, but continued to be held in federal prison in Miami, while he fought extradition to France.
