SINGAPORE: The Ministry of Education (MOE) said that effective communication skills are essential in the information age. At a teaching seminar, the ministry emphasised that teachers play a key role in ensuring that students are able to use English to communicate effectively. Launched on Wednesday, the "EL Cube" is an example of an online resource developed to help teachers plan English lessons more efficiently.
