those people were on a silent march....you people might have heard about the demand for the statehood of gorkhaland....it was just a non-violent procession and the bizzare incident took place...but see the irony those ex-gorkha service men never replied back.

@Sikkim - actually i had heard nothing about gorkhaland before we met on Rambhai. I just knew about ULFA in Assam. I think most of the rambhai boarders are unaware about Gorkhaland. It might have been a peaceful march, i wish the video capturer should have shown the entire incident and not just the police brutality. And I would chastise the Bengal/Kolkotta police if indeed they had treated peacefully marching people this way. Very bad.
