News: Dalai Lama to visit Arunachal despite China’s objection

Despite a "strong concern" expressed by China, India has made it clear that no restrictions would be put on the Dalai Lama’s travel in Nov’09 to India’s border state of Arunachal Pradesh, reported the Press Trust of India Sep 11. "We firmly oppose Dalai visiting the so-called 'Arunachal Pradesh'," it quoted Jiang Yu, the spokeswoman for China's foreign ministry, as saying.
