Poonam Dhillon is a Indian Hindi film, theatre and TV actress. was born in Kanpur on April 18, 1963. she did her schooling from Carmel Convent High School, Chandigarh, India. She married film producer Ashok Thakeria in 1988, with whom she has two children, son Anmol and daughter Paloma. The marriage ended in 1997. She was also nominated for the Filmfare Best Actress Award for her performance in Noorie. She has also done a couple of Kannada, Telugu, and Bengali films. She briefly joined India's BJP in 2004, and campaigned for its contestants during the elections. Poonam Dhillon is the Contestant of reality show Bigg Boss (Season 3) on Colors TV.
