That's the typical Bollywoodian thoughtless insertion..
I don't know if you noticed, in the movie Pyar ke side effects Ranvir Shorey plays a hilarious character called Nanoo.. suddenly in the end, he introduces
himselves to someone as Narayanan Iyer as if the name itself is a joke and everyone laughs.. and I am like what (has all these people read Sidin's blog
or something ;-) )?
meaningless/ thoughtless bollywood insertion.. He was as much of an Iyer in the movie as Midhun was Krishnan Iyer MA in Agneepath.. :-)
in the same way towards the end suddenly Govinda introduces himselves to the girl's father as "hello i am so and so indian insti of mgmt Ahmedabad 1990 batch" :-)
meaningless... thoughtless..
the movie is actually good fun though if you can forget your brain at home somehow.. ;-)
