Those who saw Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar are wondering how the sequel which starts shooting next month will accommodate the newly-married couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai. Says Ramu, "I'm aware that everyone has an opinion on the Sarkar sequel. I was informed that Aishwarya plays an evil daughter-in-law determined to destroy her father-in-law's empire. This kind of talk may be very spicy for those who are looking at the Bachchans rather than the film. I'm looking at the plot and I'm certainly not going to fall prey to gimmickry. Sarkar 2 is my first sequel and I want it to go the Munnabhai way, not the way some other sequels have."
