    hey tweety its a very good issue u have brought out in rambhai..... i hate dowry and the ppl who demand it as well as give it.... i mean why the fuck the groom's family wants dowry??? have they done a deal with the bride's family?

    why the fuck the bride's family agrees to it???

    i think it is the fear in the parents' mind that if they dont give it their daughter will remain single..... but i feel this is the wrong practice..... if they will stop giving dowry then automatically ppl will stop demanding it and as far as marriage is concerned everyone can find a partner for their own in today's era......
