The festival of Varamahalakshmi is celebrated on the Friday before the full moon in the Tamil month ’adi’ and by the English months July-august. This year Varamahalakshmi festival falls on July 31, 2009. In this festival we worship the goddess Lakshmi and Vishnu. They are one of the Hindu trinity.
