hey its surprising to see that why ppl trust Aaj Tak more than NDTV.... i just cant figure wht is that factor that ppl find special in Aaj Tak that they trust the info given out by that channel....

i personally feel that majority of the news channels if not all dont give complete neutral info as they want to be the first to deliver the news and in that competition key facts are missed out....

as far as imitating the Americans is concerned I dont when it will stop as i too am fed up with it.... it works initially but then finally the spirits die out and ppl are back to our normal culture....

I guess I know why people trust Aaj Tak more than any other media group..

70% of India's population lives in villages..People living in such areas hardly have anything to do with news..all they need is some masala stuff, new ways of superstition, family drama, stories about ghosts and mystery, future forecasting, etc..Aaj Tak serves all these relentlessly..add housewives to this group and you know why Aaj Tak is such a hit. TRPs are all that matter to Aaj Tak.

In fact I've been observing something over the past week. Over the past week, not once have I come across a single clip of matter on Aaj Tak that you can term as 'news'. Its strange that how some people could be swayed by TRPs to such an extent that they forget their very base of existence. Simply pathetic..
