The first thing you should do before you even begin organizing the closet is to go through everything in the span and pitch out anything that is not worn. To accomplish this effectively, you should sort everything into 2 piles - the “keep” swell and the “toss” mass. You can expand opening down the toss post into material that can be donated and objects that should just be terrified out.
