The Microsoft Office Groove 2007 certification exam is now available, in beta, for a limited time for FREE. [Normal rate is $125] What is Microsoft Groove 2007 ? At its most basic level, Groove is desktop software designed to facilitate collaboration and communication among small groups.The cool thing about Groove is that it works seamlessly through firewalls and doesn't require any sort of server.One can always collaborate regardless of the network/firewall/NAT, etc. Ray Ozzie founded Groove Networks and Microsoft bought out Groove.Microsoft didn't disclose terms of the acquisition, but it invested $51 million in Groove in 2001 and contributed to a $38 million investment round in 2003 that also included Intel and Accel Partners.
