    Though the article mentions that engg students are choosing IT as usual, the IITians are going for different options like Investment Banking and Consulting.

    Personally I found it surprising that good job content etc played a larger hand in Engg student's choices rather than salary. If this is true and not a mistake in the survey, then this odes really well for the Indian youth. Coz it is always better to get a good experience than focus on salaries in the early part of the career. Just my feeling...
