Bhutanese collectors’ stamps on ebay were selling for as much as US $ 300. The rare and beautiful stamps are sought after by philately clubs and societies worldwide and have proved to be the most coveted items for auction. The miniature mirrors of Bhutan, besides telling history and stories to the outside world, are also an integral source of revenue generation for Bhutan Post. In fact, during the 1960s it earned about US $ 500,000, then the biggest contribution to the national exchequer.
