Miscellaneous: Add Rambhai.com remote vote widget to Blogger or BlogSpot | Go Easy Life

This is a step-by-step guide to automatically place a live RamBhai count and vote button to every single blog post. Rambhai is a social content website where your readers or you can submit content to promote it. If you have a good story, members will ‘vote’ the post and write comments. As a blog owner, you may want to make it easy for and encourage your readers to submit and vote your articles. Therefore I am writing a tutorial which is a step by step guide in putting the buttons below.

The buttons are same structured just the look of them is changed. You may choose which one to put on your blog. And for that all you have to do is edit the code I will be providing you in this tutorial. All you do is change the 01 to 02 if you want the white button, for the blue one you simply put 3 in place of one. if you encounter any problems with this you may leave a comment and I will get back to you.

Step 1: Click on the Layout tab, after that you will see 4 tabs below the Layout tab. Click on the the third tab, which is "Edit HTML".

Step 2: After clicking on "Edit HTML", you will be taken to a page containing the script of your blog template. You must click on the "Expand Widget Template". After you do that the page will refresh and your ready for the next step.

Step 3: Scroll about two-thirds down the template to look for the code that reads below.

If you want the button to show at the top right corner of your posts, replace the above code with the one shown below.

var submit_url="";
var vote_icon="vote-01";

The results will be something like show in the picture below.

If you would like the button to appear at the end of your post, replace with this following code instead.

var submit_url="";
var vote_icon="vote-01";

The results will be something like shown in the picture below.

If you want to have the button at the top left corner of your post, replace with this following code instead.

var submit_url="";
var vote_icon="vote-01";

The results will be something like shown in the picture below.

That is it, I am out, happy editing your template.
