Played this game after a long time yesterday - used to be an addict in college and had a sudden urge to get hold of it yesteday. The link has all the files and instructions you need to get it up and running. Anyone up for a death-match! hahaha!

Hey im surprised you are still playing Quake II, did you try Quake 3 Arena - its wicked.

This is what I used to play, had lost interest by the time quake 3 arena came in. Quake 2 is now available in open source and I know that is why it is freely downloadable. Is the same true for Quake 3 as well?

Quake 3 ARena demo is freely downloadable I will post a link here. Its not opensource yet though, the graphics and action is really slick, it is based entirely on deathmatch with intelligent software players. Its much better than Quake 2 anyday. Really wicked deathmatches at different levels. AI is very smart in Q3.
