When my spouse lost their job a few months ago, our money situation became very tight. There was a lot of added stress in our lives and in our relationships. For some reason, I became paranoid about losing my job as well, perhaps because other friends and family were also losing their jobs due to the economy. I started having full-blown panic attacks at work. My heart would race, I’d become short of breath, and it got to the point where I felt like I was embarrassing myself. Fortunately, I found some really good panic attack information that helped me understand the triggers of the attacks and how to deal with them, and eventually prevent them altogether.
