I was at circus at Golitar mela ground, it was fun but not exactly as i had anticipated.

    what i saw in the circus was the artist performing in torn clothes, faces as if they had not washed it for 4-5 days and they were all pretending that they were expert ( most of the girls were below 16 years) and had been doing these shows since ages.

    hey that was really pathetic yaar.... even i saw the pics they just dont look like a professional circus show....

    any ways dont u feel so that the circuses have lost their importance over the years due to the increased competition from other modes of entertainment like theaters and stuff....

    you caught it right...i believe those days of circus is loosing its importance and getting laid only to body demonstration.

    but i dont think its good.....i mean the children should be taken to see a circus instead of the crap movies we see....

    and ppl in the circus industry are facing tough times now with lesser number of crowds and absolutely no media coverage......

    ya Sikkim they need to think more over their marketing strategies.... i think that is the main thing that needs to be worked upon.... in some situation things are so gloomy that a circus is on in the nearby area and people are unaware about it....
