    man in last few day i hav observed tht only a few of guys are voting here nd they could be the rambhai contacts only nd frm last two days whenever i vote any news, my single vote is equal to 4 votes.... so it is quite simple tht this site has been made for its own traffic..

    not only this the one who votes and comment gets the point and become top user so anyone can do it.. nd people doing so will help this site to create traffic for itself... so jst think and analyze whts going on with this site

      @salil I think a clarification here is necessary from Team Rambhai. The 4 votes instead of one you see is due to your karma. The increased voting power is reward from Team Rambhai because of the good contributions you are making to the web site. Think of Rambhai as a community, you get appreciated and rewarded and become more powerful as you contribute more. You get more stake in what gets published on home page if you have a higher karma, we think many Rambhaiyya's appreciate this feature since Rambhai recognises your past contributions.

    rambhai is volunteer site..if one doesnot like it , one may not use it...its as simple as that..

    i use it because i love rambhai..i use few other sites too..but there are few sites which i dont use any more..so its simple..

    rambhai might not be the biggest social bookmarking site on the internet, but it surely is one of the biggest indian social bookmarking site around.

    rambhai is an active community, you can figure out this part from the comments posted... this is not all about traffic and link values, rather its a place to chat and have some good time.

    Post and vote for news that matter to you, have fun and in the process get some traffic too.

    and those of you operating multiple accounts, i would suggest to build a good reputation here in rambhai by getting active, posting good comments and links, voting for good stories etc. when you have more karma, your vote will have more worth. no need to make multiple accounts, its useless.

    here u r easily finding out dat these more dan one users are in fact d single , but if he/she use differ names dan no 1 can find it out,here my aim is 2 point 2wrds many such hidden users .

    N 2 b very frank i ws unknown about d concept of karma ,so at there i was wrong .

    but 1 more point was selection of news material.

    is it compulsory dat link got higher votes will b better in terms of quality/popularity. They should go through some rigid parameters 2 make dis site more authentic.

    so, now you know the karma system, just forget your other accounts and focus on your main id.

    yes, there might be many people with multiple accounts... some by mistake and some on purpose, however rambhai has all details, of email id, ip address, geo location etc...

    anyways,

    this is actually social news sites and thus its not a matter of quality alone but rather its more about what news matters to the comunity more... and thus they reach the homepage that way. remember, homepage is not alone a success meter, check 24 hours, one month, one year popular stories... you will find out many more quality stories there...

    anyways, have fun and get some traffic in the process :)
