Well the costume is amazing. But all depends on the spirit of the person wearing it.I doubt the person wearing it understands or respects the significance of Goddess Kali. I just hope Bhagwaan gives them subbudhi.

I agree with you that this is an extremely stupid thing to do.
In certain parts on India - she would be be headed if she were to walk in the streets like this - for mocking a Goddess!

What else can be expected from these bimbette varieties? As it is westerners are extremely challenged on world knowledge and usually entertain silly notions about other cultures and beliefs.

One thing guys I wanted to point out - why do we think she is mocking Goddess Kali? I think she wanted to look different for the ball and chose this imagery. To be honest its a great adaptation of Goddess Kali. Did she say something or behavin a way which mocked Kali?

hey garfy bro actually u are correct in the pic we cant make it out that whetehr she is making fun of thge goddess or trying to be different.....
actually this speaks a lot abt the Indain mentality...
if kids dress up in the same way and perform in the same way then there is no issue but any adult or especially a foreigner does so then the ppl start interpreting it as they are mocking our gods and our religious sentiments.....

I think it must be some Indian dressed as the Goddess. In India the desi is very religious and pious, the moment he lands in the West he adopts names like Bill and Robert and tries to mimick the western accent and will eat a burger. That is the level of hypocrisy some desis have.Don't waste time tthinking that they are insulting any kind of religion- rather pray for them to be in their senses.
