Essentially what Zakaria is saying is that the US should cut a deal with elements of the Taliban who have no links with the Al Qaida, effectively hand over Afghanistan back to them and withdraw its troops from that country. Would America want Afghanistan to revert back to virtually the same conditions it was in before 9/11, minus the Al Qaida?

    this is a serious issue, Afghanistan is a nuclear bomb in the preparation and that can explode once its fully prepared...

    the main objective of the world should be destroy this bomb before its fully prepared....
