I feel disgusted tht sum1 as incapable as Manmohan Singh has been “elected” to d highest office in our country. None of his academic credentials seem 2 hv in ne way influenced his judgement or foresight. d arrogance wth which he has dealt wth d objections 2 d nuclear agreement makes one wonder if there is something fishy going on. Till now he was only known as spineless, now he would probably be known for a lot worse. I would rather hve someone as rustic and scheming as Laloo Prasad as d next PM, at least he has half a brain.

I agree j2imu - I think Laloo is the type of person this country needs. The poor and impoverished people identify with Laloo due to his rustic manner. The rich know he has smarts, he has shown it with railways. He seems to be a person who wont take nonsense easily in his office and can communicate in a humorous way. If not this election, he would be a force to reckon with in the next, he is a dark horse - lets see.

Well,Have we forgotten the great chaara Ghotala from the esteemed Laluji,as you people are discussing?People seem to be of short memory, right?

So You people say that Manmohan Singh is just without brain, hunn? This is the mentality of our people, they reckon that the Soul that is just clean as the great white and is away from corruption,is without brain.

The 14th Lok Sabha will be remembered for the many wrongs, the foremost being a crippling devaluation of the office of India’s Prime Minister. In our system of parliamentary democracy, the Lok Sabha is directly elected by the people and hence enjoys a more democratic profile than the Upper House. By convention, most prime ministers in the past were members of the Lok Sabha. In the 14th Lok Sabha, we have had a Prime Minister who was not a member of the Lok Sabha. I am personally of the view that the Constitution should be amended to make it mandatory for the Prime Minister to be a member of the lower house.

hey J2 I know that he was not a member of Lok Sabha, but then don't you agree that he is one of the most clean ministers India has ever had????? never has he indulged in corruption....

I agree that he was a total disaster and a failure as a PM, but then he can be the best as Finance Minister....

he made a huge mockery of his image the day when he selected to be the PM of India......

I am in 100 percent agreement with Abhinav..... we hardly have a handful of people who have a clear conscience.....and still we want to rule them out and give the proceedings of our country in the hands of people like Lalu Yadav, i agree he wont take shit from others, but then he himself would give so much shit to the country that we wont be able to take.....
