I cant understand what the govt is tryin to do? 12 years keeping a dead body is the height of irresponsibility.........

    When we work in companies, we are always bound by SLAs. For everyting there is a deadline and we all work with targets in mind. But the government consistently gets away with any amount of delay on anything...

    Is it a possibility that in a democratic setup the Government also has SLAs???

    Example, in this case:

    Can the Police have an SLA saying that X amount of progress has to be shown within X months and in the absence of any progress Y action has to be taken within Z years

    If a blood sample is given to a govt agency for DNA identification can there be an SLA saying it has to be services within X months

    etc etc...

    Can our govt agencies also have SLAs and Targets?
