    The first female auto rickshaw driver, Sunita Chaudhary, has once again showed her courage on New Delhi roads on Monday. She attended an elderly man Nandu Mandal, 70, who was callously lying in a pool of blood for quite long on the road near the INA market in South Delhi unattended by the old man family itself and the passerby.

    "I saw Nandu Mandal lying on the road in a pool of blood. It seemed that he had met with an accident. I searched for his contacts and found a diary from his pocket and called up his family to come to attend him and they simply refused to come to the spot at that time saying that they could not come from Manesar, which was about 40-45 km from the accident spot," said Chaudhary.

    Surprised by the reaction of the family members, Chaudhary decided to take Mandal to the hospital on her own. She took him to the trauma centre of the AIIMS, where he was admitted in a critical condition.

    Sure, she had done a great job.

    But how the family can tell that they cant come simply for the distance.

    probably they didnt wanted the old man as he would have troubled them a lot..... anyways the woman is great and has a lot of guts to do such activities.... i only hope she remains the same after joining politics.....

    Thats a very interesting story - so she started driving an auto rickshaw because she wanted to help people involved in accidents?
