Read for yourself Musharraf speech to his nation giving the reasons why he had joined the American's fight against terror. 1. our neighboring country (India) is trying hard to harm Pakistan and defame Islam. 2. he was trying to come out of this critical situation without any damage to Afghanistan and Taliban. Not to fight the "terror" but to save them. And the Americans poured in $10 billion - seven years later they got nothing in return. I think both Indian and Pakistan Politicians are of same origin. Both try to raise or speak against rival countries to gain vote bank. I heard BJP neta LKD asking Manmohan Sarkar to launch war against Pakistan and the same is a response from Pakistan.

Doesn't look any neta wants to really make his country economically strong.
