A Global Strategy for Fighting Terrorism.
There are five elements, and I shall call them the “five D’s”. They are:
*first, to dissuade disaffected groups from choosing terrorism as a tactic to achieve their goals;
*second, to deny terrorists the means to carry out their attacks;
*third, to deter states from supporting terrorists;
*fourth, to develop state capacity to prevent terrorism;
and *fifth, to defend human rights in the struggle against terrorism.

but at the ground level we the citizens should be more vigilant and aware , with our eyes and ears open...Now here I am referring to not just educated class only but everyone on the street, the autowallah, the shopkeepers..the bus conductor...the thaelewallah...the need is for awareness at all levels and help police to do their job....

Finally in the context of terrorism in India, lets not revive POTA, BUT lets revive some one like KPS Gill who really acted like a true son of Punjab on one simple philosphy "Dhaan ke suth ghun bhi pista hai"

We need several KPS Gills these days to counter attack those coward bastards .. But POTA will help them punish severely if they are not killed .. I think they should all be killed one=ce they are caught .. why to feed them indian khana ..

ya i agree with all of the above comments......its time that we should stop blaming others and be ourselves responsible to stop the terror......
i dont care if POTA is revived or not, but these cowards should be given the worst death possible in human history.....
they have crossed their limits and innocent ppl have been killed many a times.....

i agree with denny, these terrrorists should be given immediate death penalty after usual enquiry.
NO need of puting them in jail or releasing in bail.
Immediate death is least punishment for them.
But still, their group will take revenge in this and is a further problem,
So, this punishment may be uttered and supported by thier religious leader and executed in their sacred place, by their religous people.

these ppl are not goin to improve and therefore they should be killed as soon as they are spotted
